Delete my data
Last updated: 29 June 2026
This page describes how to request the deletion of the data that Nanapp (developed by Pablo Lozano Tercero) stores about your use of the app. If you have any questions during the process, write to us at [email protected].
Steps to request deletion
- Open the Nanapp app and go to Settings. Tap the version number at the bottom three times to reveal the "About" section and copy your anonymous identifier (UUID). It is the only thing that lets us locate your data on our servers. If you can't access that option, say so in your email and we'll guide you.
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data" and paste your UUID into the body of the message.
- You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within a maximum of 2 business days.
- We will process your request and delete the data from our servers within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the date of the email, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will send you confirmation by email once the deletion is complete.
What data is deleted from our servers
When we process your request, we delete all information associated with the UUID you provided:
- The anonymous device identifier itself.
- The aggregate usage counters associated with that UUID (lullabies generated in your quota period — monthly on Plus —, operational events such as trial cancellations or blocks for abnormal use).
- The record of your active plan (Free, Plus, Plus Pack, Plus Lifetime) and the approximate date of your first Plus purchase, if any.
- The free-lullaby counter (free lullabies already used), which is kept permanently associated with your UUID until you request its deletion.
Data that needs no request because it's already under your control
Some data does not live on our servers and you manage it directly:
- Your generated lullabies (audio + lyrics) are stored only in your device's local storage. They are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear the app's data from your operating system settings.
- Your preferences (chosen mode, language, remembered baby names) also live only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall.
Data at external providers
As detailed in our Privacy Policy, while using Nanapp some data passes briefly through external providers that have their own retention policies:
- Anthropic (Claude) and ElevenLabs: receive the words and the baby's name (if you provide it) only to process the generation. They do not retain the content beyond the time needed to return the result. They do not have your UUID or any identifier of yours. More information in their respective policies: anthropic.com/privacy · elevenlabs.io/privacy.
- Sentry (crash reporting): retains technical error information for up to 90 days in line with its standard policy. This information does not include your UUID, the content of your lullabies, or any personal data of yours. More information: sentry.io/privacy.
- Cloudflare: hosts our backend and processes requests without retaining them. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Automatic retention
Even if you don't request deletion, several pieces of data are deleted automatically over time:
- Aggregate usage counters per UUID: up to 180 days.
- Technical error information in Sentry: up to 90 days.
- Content sent to Anthropic and ElevenLabs: processed in real time, not stored by us.
Your other rights
In addition to the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), you have the right to access, rectification, objection, restriction and portability of your data. See the "Your rights" section of our Privacy Policy for the details, or write to us directly at [email protected].
